- Houston County still needs 30 positions
- Bibb County still needs 90 positions to fill
The University of Georgia graduated 140 less teachers from its programs last years compared to five years ago. This trend is continuing and Georgia has solid alternative certification. It seems it will take a few more to meet the need.
