For your transcripts to be considered official, they must be sent directly to us from your university or a third party sender such as Parchment or National Student Clearinghouse.
We will NOT accept the following: Transcripts sent from your email address, A PDF or screenshot of your transcripts, Transcripts sent from your previous workplace, Copies of your transcripts sent by mail, etc.
Your Transcripts MUST come from an accredited school:
To be eligible for enrollment, the Department of Education requires that your transcripts must come through a regionally accredited university.
This information can be found within your transcripts, or through a quick google search regarding your University.
If you graduated from a Non-U.S. College / University you must have your foreign transcripts evaluated/translated before we can begin reviewing your educational background. Graduates of institutions within the United States are exempt from both items.
The Non-U.S. College / University foreign transcripts evaluation must be “course by course”, equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor’s Degree, and include the following information:
– Conferred Date (The month and year that you completed your degree) – GPA – The U.S. Equivalency of your degree.
An applicant for a Nevada educator license who submits a foreign transcript (i.e. any transcript issued by a college or university outside the United States) for consideration must submit an evaluation of that transcript performed by an independent evaluation agency which has been approved by the Nevada Commission on Professional Standards in Education (NAC 391.050). That evaluation must include: The Nevada Department of Education will accept foreign transcript evaluations from the following credentialing services: National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES, the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. (AICE), Global Education Group, Inc., or the Institute of Foreign Credential Services.
