The requirements to become a teacher in Ohio are to 1.) complete the Ohio Department of Education requirements to enroll in an approved Alternative Licensure Institute, 2.) complete an Alternative Licensure Institute, like the Teachers of Tomorrow Intensive Pedagogical Training Institute, 3.) complete the Ohio Department of Education requirements to obtain an Alternative Resident Educator License, 4.) complete a Professional Development Institute, like the Teachers of Tomorrow Intensive Pedagogical Training Institute, 5.) complete remaining Ohio Department of Education requirements to obtain a Professional Teaching License.
