The Ohio Department of Education issues the confirmation registration letter once you have met all the requirements listed in the Alternative Resident Educator evaluation. You can find instructions on how to request one of those on the Ohio Department of Education webiste.
There is no set start date for the IPTI. The day your enrollment is made is your start date and your expiration date is set 6 months after that.
We do not offer payment plans or financial aid for our IPTI. The total cost must be paid in full at the time of enrollment with Ohio Teachers of Tomorrow.
You have up to six months after you enroll with Ohio Teachers of Tomorrow to complete the IPTI training coursework. The coursework is on-demand, and the rate at which you complete the training depends on how quickly you submit each assignment for grading.
A valid confirmation registration letter provided by the Ohio Department of Education can be submitted directly to our Enrollment Department at enroll@ohioteachers.org.
Yes, Field Based Experiences (FBEs) are required for Ohio Teachers of Tomorrow Intensive Pedagogical Training Institute (IPTI). You must complete a total of 28 FBE hours, with 22 hours conducted in-person at a school and the remaining 6 hours completed online through the OH Teachers of Tomorrow IPTI program. These experiences are crucial for developing proficiency in student development, instruction, and classroom management.
