Eligible participants include individuals currently holding an Alternative Resident Educator License issued by The Ohio Department of Education.

Yes, if you have completed an Intensive Pedagogical Training Institute elsewhere you can still enroll in the Teachers of Tomorrow Professional Development Institute. You must meet our enrollment requirements and provide the necessary documentation to enroll. View details about our Professional Development Institute on the PDI page of our website.
There is no set start date for the PDI. The day your enrollment is made is your start date and your expiration date is one year after that.
Yes, there are payment plans available. Candidates can choose to pay $2,300 in a one-time full payment or opt to make monthly payments at $275 a month for 10 months ($2,750 total). At this time, there is no financial aid available.
A valid Alternative Resident Educator License provided by the Ohio Department of Education and proof of current employment provided by your school or district can be emailed directly to our Enrollment Department at enroll@ohioteachers.org.
You have up to one year after you enroll with Ohio Teachers of Tomorrow to complete the PDI training coursework. The coursework is on-demand, and the rate at which you complete the training depends on how quickly you submit each assignment for grading.
