Here Are Your Next Steps


Congratulations! Your next step is to send us your official college transcripts. This is a government requirement to enroll in our program. In order to be offered admission into our program through the traditional pat, you must have a bachelor’s degree with an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher.*

 

The fastest and preferred method to send your transcripts to Texas Teachers is to have your university send them to us electronically. Transcripts should be emailed to transcripts@texasteachers.org and must come directly for your university to be considered official.

 

If your university does not participate in electronic transcripts, please give us a call at 877-888-2640.

 

If you are not following the Traditional Path (i.e. your GPA is between 2.3-2.49, you are a university student, international student or you do not have a bachelor’s degree), please read your next steps here

*Enrollment promotion of $195 that has a $200 deferral expires on September 1, 2021.

We offer a number of resources to help you understand the Alternative Certification process.

At Texas Teachers, we make the certification process simple and easy to follow. There are a few resources you can take advantage of to help familiarize yourself with the process. First, you may want to consider what subject area you would like to teach.
