In response to frequent requests for candidate status updates, we have launched this interactive platform to help you track your candidates in real-time. Sign in and search your candidate to see firsthand how much training has been completed, what tests have been passed, and their overall program progress using this innovative new tool.

Frequently Asked Questions


No! The HR Portal is a FREE service brought to you by Texas Teachers.

Once you submit a request with your Regional Hiring Consultant, please allow 2-3 business days for full access to the HR Portal.

The HR Portal only monitors Texas Teachers candidates currently enrolled in the program.

The HR Portal offers easier than ever access to real-time candidate status updates and progress on program requirements. Once you have an account, you will gain 24/7 access to enrolled candidates to monitor their progress.

The HR Portal is updated in real-time. Anytime a teacher notifies Texas Teachers of an update, or completes coursework in their account, it is automatically updated in the HR Portal.

Your username is the email address you registered with. If you are unable to recall the email you registered with, please contact your Regional Hiring Consultant for further assistance.

Click on the “Forgot your Password” link provided on the login page and follow the steps to reset your password. If you still have issues after following the steps, please contact your Regional Hiring Consultant.

The HR Portal can be accessed by registered users 24/7.

Each HR personnel must have their account for the HR portal. To request additional accounts, please contact your Regional Hiring Consultant.

Yes! You can request ‘The List’ via a link provided in the HR portal.

Please contact your Regional Hiring Consultant to report any errors.

Candidates that are not currently hired on with your district and on an active certificate must submit a ‘Job Form’ through their Intern Portal for them to appear in your District Portal.

Currently, you are not able to view candidates information that have not submitted a job form but this feature is something we are working on. Please continue to reach out to your districts Regional Hiring Consultant regarding these questions.

Please click on the ‘Verify Employment’ tab here you will see a list of candidates who need their employment verified by the district. You will see either ‘Show Criteria’ or ‘Submit SOE’ along with a Deny button. When you click on ‘Show Criteria’ you will be able to view what that candidate needs to complete in order for them to have access to their SOE. If they have ‘Submit SOE’ listed once you click on the SOE you will have access to fill in the SOE and submit it to us through your districts portal. If you choose ‘Deny’ this means you are not going to be hiring this candidate on. Please submit the reason why you are rejecting the candidates employment and an email will be sent to the candidate. Please only deny candidates you do not wish to hire on.

On the SOE you will need to check the box next to all the certificate areas the candidate is required to be recommended for in order to teach this position. If you do not see the certification area needed. That means the candidate has not passed their content exam for that area. Please reach out to your Regional Hiring Consultant regarding this or with any questions.

Yes, candidates have access to their SOE through the Intern Portal once available. They can provide their SOE to you in person, via email, or with an application. When offering the candidate a position please inform them to submit their Job Form through their Intern Portal so you have access their SOE through your HR Portal.

Yes, under the Verify Employment section your will be able to see the status of a candidates SOE. Once recommended the candidates status will change to ‘Verified Employment, Recommended Certificate’.
