Special Education Teachers \u2013 Kindergarten and Elementary School (K-Elem) \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>There are about 4,000 kindergarten and elementary school special education teachers in South Carolina. Do I have to pay my program cost\/tuition at the beginning?<\/strong>
\nNo! To get started, all you need to pay your one-time enrollment fee of $295. You pay nothing else until you’re hired<\/strong> as a full-time teacher earning full pay and benefits! Learn more.<\/a><\/p>\nHow do I enroll?<\/strong>
\nOur enrollment process is simple so you can get started on your teacher training quickly! For a detailed outline, please watch our “How to Enroll” video<\/a>.<\/p>\nWhat GPA do I need to pursue to certification in Special Education or Elementary?\u00a0<\/strong>
\nYou must have a GPA of 2.7 or a 2.5-2.74 GPA and passing scores on all sections of the assessment required by the SBE for admission to an undergraduate teacher education program.
