You will create an account with the Arizona Educator Proficiency Assessments (AEPA) website. This allows you to access the testing site and view testing locations, dates/times, and complete the registration for the exam. You will need a valid email address and social security number to complete registration. When you create the account, you will be asked the tests you would like to take. At a single test administration you may take one test or, for tests with subtests, any allowable combination of subtests.
Once you have registered with the AEPA website, you will immediately be able to register for an exam as well as view any scores and testing history associated with your account. The AEPA site does a very thorough job of walking you through the registration process. Simply follow the steps on the screen to complete registration.
AEPA offers free test preparation materials for each exam, including a breakdown of the test, a listing of competencies covered, strategies for answering questions and a full test framework. We recommend utilizing links to the free materials below, and then adding a leading professional study resource. Please keep in mind the certification areas that you are eligible to test for through Arizona Teachers.
